Educar en un contexto deseducativo: desafío actual de la educación en Europa
Keywords:

This paper discusses one of the most important challenges posed to the theory of education, in particular the anthropology of education: giving back the illusion of educating. This is due to the fact that the biggest obstacle faced by present day education is the presence of a nihilist scepticism that makes the possibility of a meaningful language, which is the essential tool of education, extremely difficult. The current cultural context forces educators into a sometimes titanic battle against the atmosphere in which they perform. “Non-formal” educational agents such as the State, the market and the mass media, deliver a nihilist culture in an unfair competition against the school.Downloads
