Abstract

Links between University and Society show up in different ways. Some times the processes don’t involve necessarily the Curriculum Projects or, at least, don’t affect them directly; but some others, the link between University and Society come from the center of Academic Programs and they involve the whole Curriculum Project. There are significant differences between the first and the second case. In the same way, Universities show (for different reasons, some of them related to the State politics such budget’s cutting or the need to reach financial resources; some others, related to the Institution’s nature, that favours a particular economical or social level) a special outlook to mark their actions. That’s why we can speak about a social outlook: it means every time the University favours linking to vulnerable social sectors and promotes researching in order to lift the quality of life for the whole population.
